A Soldier's Son

This is my song called "A Soldier's Son" that I would like to dedicate to my father, who had a turbulent and difficult life. He was born into a very strict military family and as the middle child, he was not always treated fairly by his parents. This caused him to struggle in many areas of his life including his unstable career path and failed marriage to my mother. Even though he did not have the happiest ending to his life due to unfortunate circumstances, he was a great father who was extremely brave, intelligent, multi-talented, humble, and taught me about how important it was to always stand up for yourself and for others who could not protect themselves. Basically, my father truly was the embodiment of justice throughout his life. Rest in peace Papa and have a happy 75th birthday this August 25th wherever you are in the cosmos…
